This day I am thankful for:
- Rain.
- Umbrellas.
- Baby ducks that live along the canal I walk and the mother
ducks who protect them.
- Church women who bake cookies.
- Computers when they work, and for remembering how temporary everything
is,
when they don’t work.
- People who serve God with their heart, hands, feet, spirits,
money, fearlessly.
- My doggy socks that my niece gave me.
- Work, even on rainy days when I want to stay in bed with the
covers over my head.
- My dog. How loving,
soft and fun he is.
- For our human ability to care for each other when those
among us are suffering.
