     - How hard it was to do this for 40 days
     - That after today I don’t have to sit down and actually write these out
     - That I want to do it again
     - That I learned something about gratitude
     - That disciplines are hard but useful
     - My family
     - Church
     - Nature
     - Music
     - Love

     - Airplanes, which I hate but I am glad we have them
     - Taxi’s
     - Missing the old pay phones
     - Good work
     - Students
     - Little children’s view of the world
     - That we can praise God without anyone telling us we can’t
     - Hanging baskets of flowers
     - Teens who do well
     - Sad teens that teach us to pay attention

     -Holding hands
     -Hugs
     -People who don’t wear a lot perfume so others can breathe

     - Rainy days too
     - Blue skies with fluffy clouds
     - Old spiritual songs of the South
     - Meetings that are run efficiently
     - Meetings that are run inefficiently because then I am challenged to do better.

     - Folks who still actually write letters

     - My administrative assistant
     - My children
