Day Thirty-one: Forty Days of Gratitude

This day I am thankful for:

     -School crossing guards

     -School bus drivers

     -Cafeteria ladies

     -Fun words: like parsimonious

     -Writing

     -Pens

     -Narrow ruled paper

     -Diaries and journals

     -Drawing in them

     -IPods

Day Thirty: Forty Days of Gratitude

This day I am thankful for:

     - Trips

     - Vacations

     - The sunshine

     - Long walks in the woods

     - The beach in the rain

     - Rainy days too

     - Blue skies with fluffy clouds

     - Old spiritual songs of the South

     - Meetings that are run efficiently

     - Meetings that are run inefficiently because then I am challenged to do better.

Day Twenty-nine: Forty Days of Gratitude

This day I am thankful for:

     - My dog

     - Nurses and nurse’s aides, med techs

     - My doctor

     - Cars

     - Being angry without hurting anyone or anything

     - Giving my anger to God

     - New job opportunities

     - New staff people

     - Old familiar staff people at my bank that are truly wonderful

     - Folks who still actually write letters

Day Twenty-eight: Forty Days of Gratitude

This day I am thankful for:
     - My friends the Royals

     - My sisters

     - Stories that teach me new things

     - Hard situations that make me trust God

     - Hard situations that teach me to grow

     - The convictions of the Holy Spirit

     - People who take their jobs seriously

     - Kind sales people

     - Some stores

     - Lift-Bridge Book Store and all their helpful staff

This day I am thankful for:
     - Ducks that cross the road with their babies behind them

     - Cars that drive the speed limit

     - Funeral processions that give you time to pray

     - Funeral home directors that care about families

     - Family members that love their disabled family members

     - People who jump into help

     - People that laugh a lot

     - My administrative assistant

     - My children
